Dr. Sandy Sulsky has worked as a consultant epidemiologist for over 20 years. Dr. Sulsky is part of Ramboll’s international leadership team of experts providing science-based guidance to clients aiming to protect the health of their employees and customers during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has advised a wide range of clients on infection risk mitigation strategies in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Topics included assessing risks due to supply chain (origins and distribution), modifying workplace configuration and practices for safer operations, employee training, decontamination procedures, contact tracing methods, and the design of efficient health screening programs.

Dr. Sulsky's expertise as a methodologist has provided a flexible platform for work supporting industry and government clients. She has designed, analyzed and overseen the successful execution of large, records-based epidemiological studies of occupational injury and disability, as well as evaluations of the effectiveness of workplace health and safety interventions and outcomes of health care. She has authored and co-authored critical reviews of the epidemiological literature on topics including human health effects of occupational exposures to specific chemicals and workplace physical activities. Sandy has been involved in identifying and developing the scientific base needed to support tobacco product regulation since the early 2000s. She has taught several courses as an adjunct associate professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and has served on an expert review panel for the Canadian Government.
