Ramboll along with other government entities and PCFC business partners was invited to attend the launch of ASASI, the new Trakhees Green Building Rating System, that took place on 2 May 2018 on the Queen Elizabeth 2 at the Mina Rashed Port in Dubai.

ASASI (Advanced Sustainability Assessment Index) is an independent rating system that is not connected to the PCFC - Trakhees Building Permit system. ASASI, inspired from Tribulus Omanense the UAE’s national flower, is designed to measure green building performance in a holistic manner using a framework of nine attributes: core principles, energy, water, health, land use, transportation, materials, operational sustainability and innovation.

The certification aims to promote high standard buildings and is set to transform the way our built environment is designed, constructed and operated across the region. ASASI hopes to help improve environmental efficiencies in our buildings, while boosting productivity, creating jobs and improving health and well-being of our communities.
