Ali Amiri, Head of Specialisms Middle East and Neshat Sakeena co-authored an article on the role of Embodied Carbon towards Carbon Neutrality of Highrise. The article was peer-reviewed and published in the CTBUH Journal - Advancing Sustainable Vertical Urbanism – 2021 Issue III – Special Issue: Carbon.

Carbon emissions from the built environment are responsible for 39% of global emissions. A key component of mitigating climate change is decarbonising the building sector. Ali and Neshat's paper summarise tangible savings achieved through optimisation techniques.
