Ramboll is a ‘partner member’ of the IDBA in India. The Danish Ambassador, Freddy Svane, Head of Trade Soren N, Kannik-Marquardsen, Deputy Head of Mission Martin Strandgaard, delegates from the embassy, KPMG and leadership from Ramboll and other corporates attended the meeting on Friday.
The discussions in the meeting were centred around the Green Strategic Partnership and how crucial it is for both Indian and Danish business communities to work together to make this successful. India and Denmark both have ambitious goals to reduce CO2 emissions. The Royal Danish Embassy in New Delhi is focusing on an extensive outreach and strategic communication to spread awareness about this ‘new age partnership’.
Vidya Basarkod, Country Director – India introduced Ramboll to the delegates and gave an overview of our sustainability goals, our work in the CSR space and showcased some of our key projects. The meeting was joined by members of the leadership both physically and virtually from Ramboll and also some other member companies.
The meeting concluded with a short office tour. All arrangements were made in accordance to Ramboll’s COVID-19 health & safety guidelines and the Indian government’s advisory.
