The Ramboll High Rise Team exhibits at the Council for Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat “Cities to Megacities” conference in Shenzhen in October 2016
This conference was an excellent opportunity to showcase the multitude of disciplines that Ramboll can offer clients. Attending the 7-days conference were potential clients from renowned Architectural firms, Government bodies, Contractors and Developers, making it an excellent platform to showcase technical excellence, innovation and shared problems and solutions to topics that were discussed in depth. Attending the conference is a requirement so that Ramboll is placed to understand and exploit future opportunities.
Ramboll’s High-Rise team made a big push for this year’s confernece where Ramboll Group sponsored the event for the first time. After three consecutive appearances at CTBUH conferences, Ramboll’s participation this year signals Ramboll’s move up the ladder in the High-Rise and Tall building market. Shonn comments “The CTBUH event is the “super-bowl” of High-Rise conferences on the yearly calendar. The team sat at the same table and mixed with the best developers and architects in the world. Our participation this year as sponsor shows that a One Company approach to the larger international market is the best path to Ramboll’s long-term success.”
Lars Ostenfeld Riemann, Group Market Director for Buildings, comments “High-Rise is a spearhead service for Ramboll Buildings and this was a great opportunity to showcase our expertise and experience.”.”
Robert Godbold, attending from our London office comments, “The strong theme of this year’s conference was a focus on urban habitat, the UH part of the CTBUH. The densification that tall buildings provide, married with rich, varied urban habitats, highly connected with mass public transport options, will make the mega cities of the future liveable and vital.”
