The MEP Middle East Awards are considered the most prestigious recognition within the MEP field in the Middle East. The Corniche Towers Jeddah is a RME signature project that includes two 50-storey high-end residential towers and retail development located along the vibrant and expanding Jeddah Corniche. The Corniche Towers Jeddah was a challenging electrical design project from the outset due to the series of units which required different loads as well as the different load diversities. The overall total connect load was limited to 25MVA as per the authority requirements. There were a number of team members involved in this project with Imran Siddiqui the lead electrical engineer.
Another highlight for the evening included Senior Building Physicist, Rana Itani being named the runner up for the Young Engineer of the Year category.
“I am honoured to have been highly commended for the Young Engineer of the Year category and to be representing Ramboll. This achievement motivates me to excel further in my field by offering innovative and sustainable design solutions across all our projects” commented Rana.
“We are extremely proud of our MEP services in the Middle East. The winning of the Electrical Project of the year and Rana being recognised in her profession is testament of the good work done by our teams in the MEP division and are fully deserved. ” stated Chris Jones, Regional Director of Buildings RME.
The event was attended by key clients including Layth Al Hassan from SMC, our client for this project.
