Ramboll’s Environment & Health Asia-Pacific region consists of offices in China, Hong Kong, India, Singapore and Malaysia, which are led by Juliana Ding, as well as in Australia and New Zealand, led by Fiona Robinson.
Sheila Sharma opened the first office in Kuala Lumpur at the end of 2000. Brian Bell started the office in Perth, Juliana Ding in Singapore and Xiao-Jian Zhou in China, all during the first quarter of 2001. All are still working with Ramboll, leading work in their regions. Principals Victoria Sedwick and Fiona Robinson joined Australian operations in subsequent years. David Yeung started the Hong Kong office in 2007 and in that year won the important Pearl River Delta regional air quality study for the Hong Kong Environment Protection Department.
During the last 20 years, Ramboll’s experts in the region have contributed to projects across many disciplines including air quality and noise, sustainability, environmental impact, contaminated land auditing, site solutions, health risk assessments, process safety and climate change. E&H’s Asia-Pacific network has been instrumental in our success in global due diligence portfolios too.
That the original Principals in all four countries are still working together in the same company is testimony to the friendship, trust and working relationships of the people and the organisation, that continues on into its third decade.
