Working in Ramboll’s Engineering Centre (REC), Salimsab used his time during the national lockdown productively where he passed the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) examination to become an IGBC accredited professional.
"I have been wanting to write this exam for some time but could not find the time to prepare for it. I am glad that I have successfully completed this certification. Both my line manager and department head have been very supportive and I'm grateful to them."
Anil Kumar Mittal, Head of MEP in the Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) said "I am happy for Salimsab. His hard work has paid off. Having Salimsab as part of a project team now means one additional credit point under the 'Innovation and Design' category when applying for green building certification. REC looks forward to utilising his capabilities for Green building projects from the PBUs as well as our domestic market in India as we now have a substantially wider capability base in sustainability."
Manzoor Alam Khan, Team leader – MEP, REC added "Congratulations to Salimsab! Green and sustainable buildings are the need of the hour and having an accredited professional in the team is definitely a bonus."
The 'Indian Green Building Council Accredited Professional Examination' (IGBC AP) offered by IGBC is a highly regarded credential for professionals to participate in green building projects. There are many more green buildings being designed and developed, but there are only a few IGBC accredited professionals in the country. A building designed and constructed based on specific parameters after careful assessment by a team of accredited professionals is awarded a green building certification
Congratulations Salimsab on this achievement.
