For the Dahme-Spreewald District in Germany, Ramboll has identified how CO2 emissions may be reduced. Our analysis includes all public buildings as well as the car pool and cycling path network in the municipality.
Ramboll has developed a climate concept for the Dahme-Spreewald District aiming to reduce the CO2 emission by 50% until 2030. The project comprised several tasks, including the analysis of potential emission reductions and the generation of an energy and CO2 emission plan.
Furthermore, we carried out the calculation of the expected investment costs, an estimation of regional added value and a concept for the organisational setup to implement the climate plan. Finally, a concept for public relations and a controlling system was developed.
