The Express Group wanted to develop their parcel of land next to the Express Avenue Mall in Chennai to house residential towers with luxury apartments and service apartments as well.
Ramboll was engaged to be the structural consultant for project. The building has 3 basements, five towers of eighteen storeys with a single floor podium above ground.
The structural system was finalised as RCC flat slab with drop panels at columns so that apartment fit-out is not hindered and higher floor-ceiling heights are achievable.
