For the successful roll-out of Reliance Jio Infocomm’s (RJio) fourth generation (4G) mobile telecommunication services in India, Ramboll played a pivotal role in the designing and manufacturing of optimised telecom towers.
As part of the RJio 4G project, Ramboll through its partners deployed around 10,000 lattice towers along with a number of camouflaged monopoles. It also deployed around 210 monopoles as part of RJio’s association with Delhi Development Authority for its 4G project.
The project aims to bring a revolution in data network in terms of speed and connectivity across India as RJio commercially launched its 4G services in September 2016.
