The floating bridge concept for crossing the Bjornafjorden in Norway is the result of state-of-the-art engineering solving a previous impossible challenge. The more than 5,5 km floating bridge is believed to cost 1,7 billion EUR including VAT (2017).
Digitised Asset Monitoring and Control Management for Bogibeel bridge
The Bogibeel rail/road bridge is currently under construction across the river Brahmaputra in Dibrugarh district, in the state of Assam in northeast of India. The just above 5km bridge is one of the longest river bridges in the country.

Shatin to Central Link
The North South Line Cross Harbour Tunnel is a 1.7 km immersed tunnel crossing the Victoria harbour in Hong Kong. Ramboll undertakes the role to be the Independent Geotechnical Expert Advice (the ‘expert Reviewer’) for the Immersed tunnel.
Ile d’Orleans bridge, Quebec, Canada
Ramboll, as part of the Groupement Origine Orléans team (GOO), including partners Stantec and EXP, have carried out the conceptual and preliminary design of the new iconic bridge that will connect Île d'Orléans to the north shore of the St. Lawrence River.
Kruunuvuori Bridge
The Kruunuvuori Bridge will be Finland's longest and tallest bridge. The steel-concrete composite cable stay bridge is designed with longevity in mind and is expected to last 200 years. Ramboll's multinational design team is delivering the construction design.
E18 Bommestad - Sky, European Highway
In the spring of 2005, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration began working on plans to replace a 6.4km long section of the E18 motorway between Bommestad and Sky in Norway. The motorway was constructed in 1970 and was no longer able to meet the requirements of the ever increasing road traffic. The plans involved constructing a four-lane motorway along the E18 past Larvik.

E18 Grimstad - Kristiansand, European Highway
Ramboll was engaged as the main consultant on the stretch of the new E18 motorway between Grimstad and Kristiansand. The new motorway will significantly improve the Norwegian infrastructure and will improve living conditions for local communities living along the existing road.
The Mersey Gateway
It is a new six-lane cable-stayed tolled bridge across the Mersey Estuary between Runcorn and Widnes. The central feature of the significant highway improvements between the M56 and Speke Road.
The Øresund Link
The Øresund Link connects the Danish capital Copenhagen with the city of Malmö in southern Sweden by a four lane motorway and a two track electrified railway for high speed (200 km/h) passenger services as well as freight trains.
Fehmarnsund tunnel
The Fehmarnsund Tunnel is a 1.7km long immersed tunnel connecting the German mainland to the island of Fehmarn.
