Sometimes doing nothing can be the most costly option – both in environmental and financial terms. Representing 3.5 million residents, Jeddah officials have realised that swift action is needed to make the city more liveable in the future. Ramboll established a cost-benefit analysis and crafted a masterplan to ensure future sustainable development for Jeddah.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Fujairah Municipality initiated the development of a strategic Framework Plan for the Emirate of Fujairah, one of seven Emirates making up the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Ramboll was commissioned by Fujairah Municipality to develop Fujairah’s Framework Plan through a multi-disciplinary approach.
Located on the outskirts of the city, the British Embassy in Georgia was formerly occupied by a hospital. Major earthworks allow the 1,600 sq m building complex, a stacked basalt stone plinth structure to sit firmly in the steep slope with a 30m bomb-blast security perimeter.
